StarParks, founded in 2004, successfully operated 7 former Six Flags parks in Europe. After a strong turnaround and rebranding of the parks, StarParks sold the majority of their Dutch, Belgian and French parks to Compagnie des Alpes. From 2006 StarParks focused mainly on Movie Park Germany. Almost a complete remake of the park and a totally different marketing strategy resulted in a better than ever guest satisfaction and every year growth in visitor numbers, revenue and ebitda.
